Design a $2 Stocking Stuffer using the iconic Gold Bear character

DESIGN CHALLENGE

The Haribo team wanted to enter the seasonal aisle with a $2 stocking stuffer that would highlight the Gold Bear, fit inside a standard stocking, and showcase Holiday traditions in a nostalgic way.

DESIGN SOLUTION

We created a folding carton gable box resembling a Holiday House like the nostalgic Christmas Village figurines or a classic gingerbread house. The Haribo Gold Bear is showcased in front next the door of his Holiday house. We determined the dimensions of this “house” to fit 2.8oz of product while also optimizing the consumer units per tray and staying within retailer shelf specifications.
