To utilize Sour Patch Kids’ brand equity, the “Kid” character, through packaging. It was important that the integrity and shape of the character was not compromised by packaging limitations.
WDG designed a package that showcased the “Kid,” with a billboard carton to highlight the form of the character. It was important that the integrity and shape of the character was not compromised by packaging limitations, and for the shape of the Sour Patch Kid to stand out just as a classic chocolate bunny would. The carton has a significant size impression, earning its spot as a centerpiece item in the Easter basket.
