Positivity and Productivity: creative werks' President Steve Schroeder Explains

The importance of urgency surrounding productivity is understood well at creative werks.  Working with global organizations that demand on time delivery, uncompromising quality, and fast throughput is pervasive in the manufacturing and packaged goods industry.  While pressure and client demand are constant variables, creative werks is able to remain positive, cohesive, and happy.  Although 'happiness' is a difficult key performance indicator (KPI) to measure, creative werks provides an atmosphere where ideas are not only acknowledged, but also heard and implemented, a sign of a supportive and caring work environment.

In March 18th's  edition of Harvard Business  by Dr. Emma Seppala  , Steve Schroeder, creative werks' founder and CEO explains why positivity is an important element of creative werks' culture and business philosophy.   Ultimately Steve and his team strive to create an atmosphere where associates truly care about their colleagues, the products creative werks manufactures, and the clients it serves, so that no one is disappointed or let down.   Cultivating a sense of compassion and attentiveness at creative werks instills happiness in associates, fosters creativity, and improves performance.

In February, creative werks' May 4th Group - a group comprised of young professionals who work together to improve company culture and drive change -  went to Kohler's Experiential Learning Center in Kohler, WI for a two day retreat focusing on strengths, leadership and building team camaraderie.  Following the two day retreat, associates grew more mindful of their communication styles, understood one another's strengths, and celebrated their ability and willingness to work cohesively.

It's in creative werks' DNA to exceed clients' expectations in the services it provides and in the quality products it manufactures.  Although these two elements are major components of its success;  creative werks believes that companies and job candidates want to work there because the team passionately strives to make clients happy and supports one another's goals, ideas and projects.  It's the latter aspect of creative werks' culture that pushes the company forward, attracts new talent, and keeps clients happy.
