on JAVAD ABBASY
JAVAD Abbasy, creative werks’ Production Control Manager, joined the team in 2009 in the Production Control Department as a coordinator. Now Javad is strategic in creative werks’ scheduling function and leads the production control team. Javad grew up in South Iran but left in 2003 for college in Bangalore, India. He graduated in 2006 from The Oxford College of Science, and made his way to the US a year later. He now resides in Hoffman Estates, roots for the Chicago Bulls, and listens to music in his free time.
Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in the south part of Iran.
What was your first impression of creative werks?
After a month of working here, I felt that I could grow with this company and I could be a contributor to the company’s success.
If you could play 1 on 1 basketball with anyone on the Chicago Bulls who would it be?
It would be against Derrick Rose because he is injured and I might be able to make some baskets.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
If someone misplaced my stuff on my desk or my room.
How do you de-stress?
By watching comedy videos and listening to music.
If you could possess any superpower, what would that be?
See the future and have the power to see what life is like after death.
If you were the last sole survivor on earth, what’s the first thing you would do?
I would gather supplies for myself, making sure I have enough essential supplies at least for a year.
What do you think has been mankind's greatest invention?
Any of the inventions that help humans communicate better and more efficiently such as the telephone, e-mail, fax etc...
Do you have any irrational fears?
Yes, I do not like snakes.
If you could share a meal with anyone in the world, who would it be and what would you eat?
I would eat with Barack Obama, and we would eat one of my favorite sea foods (if he likes sea food!).
